Plus a Lovable brainchild
Q4 Pitch Session
Our final pitch event for the year on November 6th is quickly approaching.
We have four amazing founders presenting yet again within a wide variety of verticals including deeptech, SaaS, CPG, and biotech (tattootech?)
444 is a special number. Not because it’s an “angel number”… not because it’s aesthetic… and not because it happens to be the same as the maximum number of Raisinets I can fit in my mouth (I love Raisinets).
It’s because:
It’s our Q4 Pitch Session
With 4 founders presenting
And you’ll want to pull out 4 wads of cash to invest
I can’t know just how many wads will be invested, but at the very least we’ll have a room packed with Buffs, awesome founders, good vibes, and complimentary refreshments thanks to the amazing folks at Michael Best/Venture Best.
In case you were wondering, a “wad” is somewhere between $2,500 and $25,000…depending on if you’re cruising around town with pockets lined with Lincolns or Benjamins.

A Lovable Brainchild
I recently decided to try my hand at using Lovable.
Needless to say, I had no idea that I could conceive until this Saturday, but I can, and I’ve brought forth a beautiful brainchild.
It’s name is the Boulder Angels Portal.
Featuring both a light and a dark mode, I encourage anyone reading this to go check it out and register as a founder/investor to help me test out the platform. After tomorrow, I will delete any non-serious pending investor/founder profiles.
This portal is an important step for our group. Many angel investors are busy with life.
Enabling our investor members to dig into opportunities anytime without having to sort through emails or recordings is a step in the right direction to allow our members to make more investments, and empower more talented Buff founders to build.
What’s Next?
If you’re an investor or community builder interested in attending our Q4 pitch session. Register here.
If you’re one of Boulder Angels' first 10 investor members, expect a package in the mail as a token of my appreciation.
Otherwise, reach out to me anytime with questions, comments, or anything else.
